"Envision a world where wildlife thrives in its natural habitat."

Vision:WildREF envisions a world where wildlife thrives in its natural habitat, where our world’s leaders, decision-makers, publics, and youth are empowered with ecological wisdom, and where conservation action is grounded in sound science.

Mission: WildREF is a science-based 501c3 non-profit that conserves wildlife and wild places through sound science and science-based education. WildREF also contributes to wild bear rehabilitation, where orphaned and abandoned bear cubs are provided temporary safe placement and then released back into their wild habitats.
